Lawrence “Larry” Nielsen, 79, passed away November 22, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Zelma; children Richard Nielsen, Cindi Sheppard and Steven (Peggy) Nielsen; grandchildren Richard (Tae) Sheppard, Christopher (Sarah) Sheppard, Kenneth (Krista) Nielsen, Robert (Billie Ann) Nielsen, Saul (Shoni) Sheppard, Nathan ( Kacie) Sheppard, Lanae Sheppard, and Alessandra Sheppard; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Edward (Nan) Nielsen, Alice Roberts and Michael (Sharon) Nielsen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Mildred Nielsen. Larry worked at CF&I for 32 years as a crane man and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his grandchildren.
