Linda Kay Allphin, 62, passed away Dec. 31, 2010. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Lois Stickler and Jess Kenner. Survived by her husband, Carl Allphin; children, Charles Trace (Sybelle) Herndon, Michael Trevor (Lisa) Herndon, James Howard (Kelly) Lundblade, and Jeremy (Rita) Lundblade; step-children, Jennifer Allphin, Kara (Josh) Wiley, Matthew (Katie) Allphin, and Brandon Allphin; grandchildren, Brian, Timothy, Colton, Logan, Alexandria, Breanna, Alexis, Brett, Katherine, Ian, Blayze, Talyn, Cody, and Talon. Also survived by her brother, Wayne (Norma) Devendorf; sister-in-law, Peggy Greathouse; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends. Linda ran the Southern Colorado Chapter THYCA Cancer Organization, provided day care for many years for children, and owned her own business, Therapeutic Touch, where she was a massage therapist. Memorial Service 10 am Saturday, Chapel of Hope at Colorado Mental Health Institute. Donations in her memory may be made to the Thyroid Cancer Association through the funeral home.
