Linda Louise Fisher was born May 15, 1940 and passed away on July 29, 2021. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, James L. Fisher, children John L. (Sharon) Fisher, Nancy R. (Mark) Dussart, David L (Nancy E.) Fisher, eight grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren with a twelfth on the way. Linda was raised by her grandparents, Elmer and Carolyn John. She was born in Dover, Ohio in 1940 and moved to Colorado in 1947. She graduated from Centennial High School in 1958. She married James in October of 1958 and they lived on East 7th street for three years, before moving to their farm on Ford Road, where they resided for 60 years. They went on many travels together and made it to 49 of the 50 states. After their three children started school, she worked at Vineland Middle School for 17 years as a Special Education Aide and 12 years as the school secretary. She was an active member of her church as a long-time Sunday school teacher and church pianist. She loved to quilt and was a member of FCE, making many quilts for both family and community members. She loved deeply, and was loved by many. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. A visitation for Linda will take place at Imperial Funeral Home Friday, August 6, 2021 at 1:00pm followed by a service at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make any donations to Sangre De Cristo Hospice.
