A proud graduate of Pueblo South High School’s Class of 1971, Linda remained deep-rooted in her hometown throughout her life. On June 28, 1972, she married the love of her life, William R. McIntire, beginning a journey of partnership and family that would span over five decades.
Professionally, Linda was a pillar of reliability and hard work. She dedicated over 40 years of service to Cliff Brice Petroleum, where her colleagues were like a second family and her dedication to her role was well known throughout the community.
Linda’s hands were rarely still. She was an avid crafter who found great joy in crocheting baby blankets, as well as special pieces for her friends and family. These handmade treasures remain a warm reminder of her generous spirit.
Her faith and community were the cornerstones of her life. A devoted member of her church, Linda spent countless hours serving others. She was a dedicated Scouter, spending many years volunteering and supporting her boys through their various scouting adventures. As her family grew, she transitioned into her favorite role: being the number one supporter of her grandsons and great-grandson. She was a constant, proud fixture in the audience for all of their music endeavors.
Linda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Herbert Lee and Betty Ann Trimble.
She is survived by her husband, William R. McIntire; her children, William L. (Debby) and Matthew S. (Leann); and her cherished grandchildren: William (Christina), Patrick, Michael, Aiden, Owen, and Ethan; Great-grandson, Elias; Sisters, Jan Balk and Cheryl Brown, along with numerous extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply.
A Celebration of Life Reception will be held in her honor on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church, 220 West 10th St., Pueblo, CO 81003.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Linda’s name to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice, whose care and support are deeply appreciated.
