Linda Sammons, age 79 passed away at home with her family by her side on July 22, 2023. She was born January 2, 1944 to Clifford & Marie Pinkerton in Pueblo, Colorado. She married Tracy Sammons on January 24, 1965. She is survived by her husband Tracy, son Tracy (Jacki) Sammons Jr., daughter Tanya Sammons and son Terry Sammons. Four granddaughters, Brooke (Justin) Sammons. Annmarie (Tyler) Sammons, Brianna Sammons and Abbigail Sammons, as well as her fur baby Kula. Linda is survived by brothers- in-law, Darrell (Charlotte) Sammons, Steve (Sheryl) Sammons and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Bobbie (Ken) Culver, brothers Jim ( Joann) Pinkerton and Jerry, (Connie) Pinkerton. Her in laws Leonard and Nancy Sammons and sister-in-law. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Sangre De Cristo Hospice, especially her nurse Allie, CNA Audi, and other nurses and CNAs and her caregiver granddaughter Abbigail. Funeral service for Linda will take place at Imperial Funeral Home Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 11am.
