Lorraine Retha Angster

Lorraine Retha Angster, 82, passed away February 23, 2025, at Pueblo Hospice. She was the widower of Richard Andrew Angster. They shared 12 years of marriage and had 4 beautiful children. She also spent part of her years with husbands: Jerry White and Harry Atwood.

Born in Pueblo, CO, the daughter of Retha and George Pavlin. She was predeceased by brother, George, and sister, Dorothy. She graduated from Central High School. Lorraine worked as a Psychiatric Technician at the State Hospital for many years. She then completed her work years as a Corrections Officer for the State Prison system.

Lorraine loved traveling. She was able to see many beautiful and interesting places. Her favorite trip was to Kuaui. She explored the world of alternate religions and had a love of the Zodiac. Her friends say she was a loving and giving woman.

Lorraine is survived by her 4 children: Tina Angster (Donald Bastian), Richard Angster, Jr., Katherine Leasure, and George Angster (Sarah Angster).

Grandchildren: Joshua and Frank Angster; Aaron, Jake and Samuel Leasure; Abigail and Megan Angster.

Other family members: Linda and Jerry Randolph, Deanna and Eric Westerby, Ace Angster, Phyllis and Felix Montoya, and LaShawn Mynheir Acosta.

Cherished friends: Betty Burns, Beverly Dunn and Dieu Lambert.

A Memorial Service for Lorraine will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 2:00 PM at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home, 329 Goodnight Ave., Pueblo, Colorado 81004. An inurnment to follow celebration of life will occur at Imperial Memorial Gardens, 5450 HWY 78 West, Pueblo, Colorado 81005.
