Lorraine Elsa Neighbours

Lorraine E. Neighbours, 90, of Pueblo Colorado, passed away on November 29, 2018. Lorraine "Rainey" was born in Del Norte Colorado to Dr. Reginald and Effie May (Russell) Weiler. The family moved to Pueblo when Rainey was a teenager and she attended Central High School. Lorraine had seven children, Laurel, Carol, Jim, Darlene, Deborah, Sherrie & Bill; step-son Melvin; 13 grandkids; 16 great-grandkids; five great-great-grandkids; and numerous other beloved family and friends. She would always answer the phone with the greeting "May the peace of the Lord be with you". She was a single mother and worked as a baker. She also found time to do volunteer work, be a Girl Scout leader, and was an animal lover. She celebrated the holidays by making everyone at her son Jim's shop and her neighborhood, sacks of candy and toys. Lorraine and two of her dog's ashes will be scattered in the tranquility of the Rocky Mountains. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Peter The Apostle Episcopal Church 3939 W. Pueblo Blvd. at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 8, 2018. "May the peace of the Lord be with you."

My favorite memory of Lorraine was how she took my sister and myself in and treated us like one of her own children to the point we called her mom, she will be missed, my heart goes out to her family, sorry for your loss.
