She grew up going to a Missionary Baptist Church and she later married Alton Lee January 14, 1948 and came to Pueblo, Colorado the next day. Together they became parents to daughter, Donna Lee.
Lucille loved gardening, vegetables, flowers and missionary meetings. She taught sunday school for many years at Lynn Gardens Baptist Church and was a dedicated prayer warrior for years.
Preceded in death by her parents; Dallas & Vona Cossey, Sisters; Mildred Holmes, Geraldean Mathis, Brother; Ronald Cossey, Sister-in- law; Virginia Cossey and her cousins, nephew and nieces.
Special thanks to her caregiver Miss Sadie for the love and time she gave to her and the medical staff team at Parkview Hospital in Pueblo,CO.
A Funeral Service will be held at Lynn Gardens Baptist Church, 3804 W Pueblo Blvd, Pueblo, CO 81005, US, on June 24, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Graveside Service at Imperial Memorial Gardens, 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, CO 81005, US, on June 24, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:15 am.
