Lucy C. Rodriguez

Lucy C. Rodriguez, 94, of Pueblo, departed Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Elmshaven Center, Thornton, Colorado. A lifetime resident of Pueblo, Lucy was born September 14, 1924 to Jesus M. and Consuelo A. Cortez who preceded her in death along with her husband, Bruno Rodriguez; her sister Jovita Cortez, Pueblo and brothers Fidel Cortez, Pueblo and Peter Cortez of San Bernardino, California. Lucy leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughter Esther (Raymond) Arellano of Broomfield; grandson Ray (Angelica) Arellano; great- grand daughters Justine and Michelle Arellano both of Westminster; siblings Lena (John S.) Amaro of Pueblo; Joe (Rose) Cortez of Colton, California; Alice (Leo) Solano of Thornton; Mary (Benny) Valdez of Colton, California; Richard (Betty) Cortez of Pueblo; Jovita (Pete) Villagrana of Phoenix, Arizona; Margaret C. Rios of Pueblo; brother-in-law Teodoro Diaz-Bonilla and Rosie (Ron) Martinez of Pueblo; god-daughter Consuelo Gutierrez; good friends Ermier Gurule and Jose Quintana of Pueblo and numerous nieces , nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly. A Funeral Liturgy, Rosary and committal will begin at Monday, October 8th at 10:30 am in the Imperial Funeral Home Chapel, 5450 Highway 78 West in Pueblo. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home.
