Manuel Albert Lucero

Manuel Albert Lucero, 88, of Vineland, CO, went to be with the Lord on April 20, 2018. He was at his home surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Amy of 53 years; birth parents Petronilo Lucero and Maria Rael; his children Dennis Lucero, Albert Lucero, and Sophie O’Cana; as well as 3 sisters, and 3 brothers. Manuel worked at CF&I steel mill for 45 years in the open hearth and the rail mill toward the end of his career. He loved green chili, dancing, hunting, his church, and most of all, his family. He is survived by his children Mae Jaramillo, Joseph Lucero, David Lucero, Kenneth and Anthony Rowland and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Viewing from 5 to 6 pm, Wednesday, at Holy Family followed by rosary service, 6 p.m. Funeral Mass, 11 am at the church. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
