Margaret Ann Sandoval-Camargo was born September 15, 1941, in Pueblo, Colorado, at her family home. She passed away on February 20, 2025, in Pueblo, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her parents, Maximino Camargo and SanJuna Vasquez-Camargo, four sisters, two brothers, and her son Russell Sandoval. She is survived by her Viejo of 64 years, Paul Sandoval Jr., son Paul Mark Sandoval, daughter Leticia Sandoval-Garcia (Rich), sister Isabel Tienda, numerous godchildren, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and family. Margaret had a love for Mariachi music, cooking, spending time with her grandchildren, the Denver Broncos, and playing the slot machines in Cripple Creek. Margaret dedicated many years to Mt. Caramel Church, where she cooked menudo every first Sunday of the month. She was very proud to have a hand in starting the festival at St. Francis Church, where she worked her beloved cotton candy booth. Margaret and Paul were proud originators and owners of “Sandoval’s Tree Service,” where they worked alongside their children and grandchildren for many years. Margaret did all the bookkeeping and behind-the-scenes work. Margaret was never afraid to get her hands dirty. She spent the last year of life in Westcliffe, Colorado, where she endearly referred to as “The Hill” alongside Paul, at their home for which they quite literally laid the foundation. Margaret was always willing to give a helping hand to whoever needed it, so much so that her final act of selflessness came after her death by being an organ donor. Margaret loved her children, grandchildren, and husband more than anything, but above all, she loved our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Margaret will be loved and missed by many.
