Maria Hipolita Lacey, age 81, of Fowler, Colorado passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025. Maria was born on December 1,1943 in Mexico to Manuel and Hipolita Ellegunda. Maria was a wife, mother, grandma and friend. Maria loved to cook and make her unforgettable tortilla. Maria worked many miscellaneous jobs and loved the color red.
Her hobbies were dancing, coloring, and spending time with her friends and family. She will be missed by those who knew her.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Francisco Berumen and Orlando Berumen; great grandchildren, Una Berumen, Mari Berumen, Eli Montano, Josiah Berumen, Valentino and Joaquin Berumen; Nephews and Nieces, Hector Blanco, Alfredo Blanco, Rose and Lisa Blanco, Saul Monarrez, Oscar Farias, Eloy Monarrez, Eugene Garcia, Sammy Flores, and Leticia Flores; and many other loving family members and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lacey, Manuel Berumen; only son, Edwardo Raul "Lalo" Berumen; granddaughter, Sharlene Berumen; siblings, Domingo Monarrez, Paulina Farias, Elva Flores, Esperanza Garcia, and Juan Quintero.
Funeral Service will be at 10 AM, Friday, June 13, 2025 at Imperial Funeral Home. Followed by burial at Fowler Cemetery.
