Marie Barbara McConnell

Marie Barbara (Barbie Doll) McConnell, 73, went home to her heavenly father on October 11, 2021. Marie was preceded in death by both parents Ben and Frances Pacheco, her siblings Albert, Victoria, Theresa, and Victor Pacheco. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her soul mate of twenty four years William McConnell and her daughter Christa (Manuel) and granddaughter Caitlyn Maese grandson Kevin Maese (Amanda Valdez), her bonus daughters Crystal McConnell, Jennifer McConnell (Desirae Rael), Natasha McConnell, Grandchildren Kyrie Apodaca, Bo Apadoca, Josiah Montiel, Isaiah Clines, Brendon Ortega and Brycen Ortega. Mother-in Law Amy McConnell, Sister in Law Cathy (Ben) Blackmore. She also leaves behind her nine sisters and three brothers, Corelia (Junior) Vigil, Shirley Apodaca, Gloria Santistevan, Priscilla Casados, Kathy Avent, Moses (Cecilia) Pacheco, Jesse Pacheco (Micheal Holmes), Julia (Rudy) DeHerrera, Jeny Salas, Sally (Adolfo) Chacon, Elizabeth Pacheco, Rudy (Janine) Pacheco, Tio Larry Gonzales and family, Tia Dora Lopez and family and many wonderful nieces and nephews, cousins and other beloved family and friends. Marie was retired and enjoyed fishing, camping and reading her bible. Marie had a huge love for her family, music and babies. Marie was also devoted to her belief in God which guided her back to heavenly father. Viewing 4-7 pm Thursday at Imperial Funeral Home, The McConnell and Pacheco families invite you to share memories at the service which will be held at Family Worship Center located at 3800 Parker Blvd Pueblo, Co 81008 on Friday October 22nd at One O’clock in the afternoon and you are welcome to wear Green or Purple, which were Marie’s favorite colors. The family also requests that masks be worn. The burial will follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens located at 5450 Highway 78 West Pueblo, CO 81005. Reception information to follow service.
