Marie F O'Connor

Marie F. O’Connor, passed away on November 13, 2013. She was born during the 1921 flood in Pueblo, Colorado, on June 5, 1921. She was born to the union of Charles and Maria (Camacho) Moore and joined brothers, John, Frank, William, Lee, and Charles. All have preceded her in death. Marie married James P. O’Connor on November 30, 1946; he too preceded her in death.

Marie is survived by two daughters, Linda M. Nelson of Pueblo, and Patty Sharkey of Colorado Springs; three grandchildren, Alex Sharkey of Colorado Springs, and Michael and Patricia Nelson of Pueblo; two great-granddaughter, Alexis and Elizabeth; several nieces and nephews, especially Debbie Davis of Acton, California; and former son-in-law, Robert Nelson of Pueblo.

Marie spent her entire working career in banking, and retired from United Bank in 1985. A Memorial Service will be held, 11:30 a.m., November 21, 2013, at Adrian Comer Garden Chapel.
