

Marie Antonette (Calabro) Rotolo, 96, passed away at her home on Sunday, October 8, 2023. She was born on January 17, 1927 in Denver, Colorado. She is preceded in death by: her husband of 71 years, John Rotolo, parents Antonette (Sacco) and Andrew Calabro, grandchild Nicole Armstrong, Great-Grandchild Melody Wyatt, and son-in-law Rick Armstrong. Marie is survived by her daughters, Judy VanDyke and Jackie (late husband Rick) Armstrong, Granddaughters, Tracy (Troy) Vujcich, Tisha (Brett) Schafer, and Lisa (Dave Folsom). Great Grand-Children Tyler (Ashlynn), Tory and Talli Vujcich, Clay, Macey and Colby Wyatt. She was married October 22, 1944 to the love of her life John Rotolo in Denver, Colorado. They lived in California while John served in the Navy. Upon returning to Pueblo, they started their family. Marie loved being a stay-at-home mom and taking care of her family. She enjoyed being an election judge and volunteering in the gift shop at St. Mary Corwin Hospital. Her hobbies included watching movies and baseball, bowling, and taking trips to the casino. She was an avid New York Yankees fan and traveled to New York City to see the Yankees play in the World Series. Marie dedicated her life to her family. She was known for her famous sauce and meatball dinners. Her door was always open to family and friends. A Special thank you to her extended family, Thelma, Maria, Coleen, and Elaine. She loved each and every one of you, thank you for treating her like family. The Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 9:30 am at Our Lady of the Meadows Church, 23 Starling Drive, Pueblo, CO, 81005. Graveside Service and reception to follow.
