Marjorie A. Chuich

Majorie Ann (Alt) Chuich, 90, was born on June 30, 1928 to the union of Harold and Vyrel Alt. She attended grade school at the country Eden School. When Marjorie graduated from Eden school at the 8th grade, she went to Centennial High school and graduated from there in 1946. She attended Pueblo Junior College for over a year. Marjorie (Marge) married her loving husband George Chuich August 21, 1948. He preceded her in death on April 23, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents Harold and Vyrel Alt; grandparents William and Josephine Alt; and William Clyde and Raevena McCloskey. She was an active member of the Shrine of St. Therese Church. Served as an Eucharistic Minister at St Mary Corwin Hospital for 16 years, and at her church as an Eucharistic Minister to the homebound. She is survived by her sister in-law, Dorothy Roberts, nephew James Roberts; cousins JoAnn and Mike McCoy, Judy and Frank Urban, Milan (Mike) Marich. She worked for Vodian Optometrists from 1953 -1956, for her father and uncle at the Eden Dairy and for Jehn Panepinto at Republic Grove Drug. She was a member of Ladies Auxilary V.F.W. and Ministry of Christian Service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Church. Rosary 6pm, Monday, September 3 . Funeral Mass Tuesday, 10am, both services at the Shrine of St Therese with Interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Arrangements by TG McCarthy Funeral Home.
