Mark Ohnemus, 62 yrs. Old, passed away Sept. 5th, 2021 in Pueblo, CO. He was always a 'Colorado Boy' but traveled while in the Army from Lakewood to Frankfurt to Amsterdam and back again. Work was not a word used to describe Mark, he did finish his GED and took some Electrical classes at Red Rocks Community College where he met and charmed his wife Michelle. A few years later Michelle agreed to marry the charmer😊 and a few years later they had the joy of their lives, Adam. Mark worked at the Denver Federal Center and retired from there. His work was close to our home and he enjoyed taking Adam to all of his activities. He enjoyed skiing, camping, backpacking, rafting, dirt bike riding, jumped out of a plane or two, gambling in Central City, traveling, poker with “the boys” every Friday for about 20 yrs., and beer, beer, beer!
He is survived by his wife Michelle Ohnemus, Pueblo, CO; son Adam ( Guadalupe) Ohnemus; sister Christie Hon of Erie, CO ;grandchildren Atlas Ohnemus and Eos Ohnemus of Clearwater, FL.
He is preceded in death by his mom Jacqueline "Jackie" Ohnemus Lakewood, CO and dad (Albert) Bill Ohnemus Lakewood, CO.
In lieu of flowers we are asking that donations be made in Marks memory to the Alzheimer's Association, as many of you know Mark had some dementia the last few years of his life.
