Martin Robert Vansant passed away peacefully at his home in Pueblo West, Colorado, on June 14, 2026, at the age of 73. While we grieve our loss, we take comfort in knowing that he is now with his Lord and Savior.
Martin was born in Flint, Michigan on September 21, 1952, the son of the late Frank and Doris (Weale) Vansant. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Tondreau.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Cheryl; four children, Michael Vansant, David Vansant, Shauna Helmick, and Stephanie Sanchez; and grandson, Aryan Richardson (Norah Cook). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Martin grew up in Michigan. He served in the Air Force for 4 years as a weapons mechanic. He then worked at Boeing/ULA as a quality engineer. He retired after working 30 plus years. He enjoyed working on his hot rod, a ‘34 Ford, camping with his family, and playing guitar. He was a long-time and faithful member of Parkhill Baptist Church. He loved God, his wife, and family immensely.
A Memorial Service will be held at Imperial Funeral Home, 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, CO 81005, US, on June 30, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
