Mary Lou Carlson

Mary Lou Carlson, 86, was born March 15, 1924 in Pueblo, CO and went to be with the Lord on December 26, 2010. She will be remembered by daughters; Janet (Ray Jr.) Keeney, Anita Carlson; grandson, Andrew Carlson; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers; Sterner, Tom and John Remple. As a child in the D.A.R. she represented Pueblo and shook hands with Franklin Delano Roosevelt. She graduated from Central High School and Pueblo Business College. Mary Lou worked in the offices of the Santa Fe Railroad. She married John E. Carlson after he returned from WWII in 1946. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association or PAWS for life through the funeral home. Funeral service, Thursday, December 29, 2010, 2:00 pm, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
