Mary Ann DeFrece

Mary Ann DeFrece, age 83, passed away on Friday March 6, 2026 after a 50 year battle with cancer. Mary Ann was born in Pueblo Colorado to the union of John and Mary Emory. Mary Ann worked at Alpha Beta for several years and later became a Realtor at ReMax where she worked until retiring to be a caregiver for her husband. Mary Ann enjoyed spending time with family, reading a good book, watching old western movies and bowling. Mary Ann was inducted into the Greater Pueblo USBC Hall of Fame March 2017. Mary Ann will be remembered for her kindness, unwavering support and laughter.

Survived by her husband of 67 years Jim DeFrece, children Jimmie DeFrece and Cindy Muckel, grandchildren David (Ashley) Muckel of Aurora, Co, Danielle Muckel and Jessie DeFrece. Great grandchildren Johnny Foos, Mason Muckel, Bristol Foos, Xenon Foos and Sadie Muckel: brother Tommy (Gina) Emory of Sandpoint, Idaho, Donna (Dale) Dinsome of Billings, MT. Nancy Emory and Helen (Delton) Harbour. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Emory, sister Clare Mae Clahoun, brother John Emory.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 AM on March 19, 2026 for viewing and services beginning at 12:00PM at Imperial Memorial Gardens.
