MARY "FRAN" F. BECKWITH

June 30, 1945October 11, 2010

Mary “Fran” Beckwith, 65, passed away October 11, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Beckwith, and her son, John C. Beckwith. She is survived by her children, Joe Beckwith, Jill Wojan, Julie (Alan) King, Jeri (Wendell) Kennedy; daughters-in-law, Kathy Beckwith and Jeannette Beckwith; 15 grandchildren. Fran worked at the Greeting Card Outlet on Prairie for many years. She loved sharing her love for reading with all the kids in her life. Viewing will be 3-7 p.m., Thursday; and Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, October 15, 2010, both to be held at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. Memorial Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Valley View Church of God, 4390 S. Lowell Blvd., Sheridan, CO. In lieu of flowers, Fran’s request was that you bring a children’s book to be donated to a school of the family’s choice. Please visit Fran’s memorial at www.tgmccarthy.com. Arrangements by T.G. I worked with Fran at Red Front Market in Burlington several years ago. We worked the same shift and then she would always take me home and we would set and visit in the car. She was a very good friend and we kept in touch after she moved to Pueblo. I met all of your family and enjoyed them very much. My love and prayers.

Dear Beckwith Family, I was just talking to my daughter last week about your family and it dawned on me that Fran hadn't wrote in some time. Got on the computer today to look up her phone number and found her funeral sevice. I'm Judy St.Clair(Reed) daughter of Marilyn&Francis. When you came to Oberlin to visit your Grandparent our family would be there also. I dearly loved you parents. Your dad & John gave the best hugs& and your mother was so kind she was always faithful to write letters to my Mom in the nursing home. Will you be coming to Dresden ks sometime? would like to keep in contact with you.My cell 785-443-0785Your mother will be truely missed.
