Mary Selakovich Gacnik died on February 24, 2022 at the age of 96. Mary was born on June 16, 1925 in Penrose, CO. Preceded in death by husband Robert J. Gacnik, Sr., parents Mark and Mary Selakovich, brother Dan, sister Helen Newell, in-laws Frank (Catherine) Stanley, Viola Gacnik, Al (Frances) Mramor. Survived by brother Mark (Connie) Selakovich, sister-in-law Beth Selakovich, children Sandy (Ed) Hughes, Jerry (Jean Ann) Simmons, Dave Gacnik, Elaine (Dave) McClellan. Mary is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Mary was a member of First Presbyterian Church since she was 16 years old. She worked at St. Mary Corwin for over 17 years. She volunteered for the Colorado Department of Human Services Food Distribution Program for 30 years. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 4 at T. G. McCarthy Chapel. Interment at Roselawn Cemetery.
