I had Miss Kimsey for first grade from 1973-1974.  The smell of honeysuckle from Avon always reminds me of her.  She was a very sweet teacher and one I'll never forget.  Thank you Miss Kimsey for always being so gentle and sweet to a little girl who cried every morning for her Mom for about the first 3 months of First Grade..

I wanted to honor and remember Miss Kimsey for all her help at Morton Elementary.  I attended school there from 1967 to 1972 and I always enjoyed her guidance and help.  Especially with the choir programs with Miss Heinercy.  She was always kind and made you good about what we accomplished!  She was a very special teacher and will be missed. THANK YOU for the memories!

I had Miss Kimsey for first grade in 1956-57. She was a wonderful teacher, and her Saturday Evening Post assignments are ones I will never forget. I have been a professional writer for 40 years...she may be why.
