It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Mary Dolores "Dudee" Moncivaiz-Lucero, who left this world on Thursday, July 10, 2025 surrounded by the love of her family.
Mary was born in Pueblo to parents, Emma and Isaac Moncivaiz. Mary graduated from Centennial High School and continued on to graduate with an Associates degree from Pueblo Community College. She was a woman of warmth, strength, and kindness. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life whether it was cooking the most delicious meals that filled our hearts and homes, or cheering on a lively game of softball, where she was not just a fan but an avid player who loved the sport. She also enjoyed pool and darts, always bringing her playful spirit and a touch of friendly competition wherever she went. Above all, she was a devoted mother and grandmother, the heart of her family. She created a home filled with love, laughter, and the comforting aroma of her incredible cooking. Her food nourished more than just our bodies it brought us together, creating memories that will be cherished for generations. She will be remembered for her giving heart, her vibrant personality, and the way she made everyone feel welcome. Her legacy lives on in her children, grandchildren, and all those who were blessed to know her.
