Mary Escolostica Ulibarri, 91, passed away April 17, 2025, in Pueblo, Colo. Born in Anton Chico, N.M. on Jan. 21, 1934. Preceded in death by her husband, Narciso Ulibarri; and grandson, Emilio Perez. Survived
by children, Sylvia Perez, Manuel Ulibarri, Jude (Annella) Ulibarri, Steven Ulibarri and Mark Ulibarri; grandchildren, Antonio, Amanda, Mat and Joseph; siblings, Nina Henry, Cecilia Vrendenburg, Terry (Jim) May and Patsy (Rudy) Archibeque. Also survived by numerous family members and friends. Mary attended
Highlands University in Las Vegas, N.M. and received her bachelor’s degree. She taught second grade in Aton Chico, N.M. public schools. She loved cooking, eating sweets, doing the Rosary, watching “The Golden Girls” and most of all her family. She will be greatly missed. Special thanks to Lupe Zamudio from First Light Home Care. Viewing will be from 5 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Imperial Funeral Home. Rosary will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025, followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m. Both held at St. Joseph Catholic Parish.
