Marylyn (Kimmick) Herman, 98 years old, was born in Cañon City, Colorado and passed away March 8, 2026, in Pueblo, Colorado. Marylyn was living in Rivaria El Camino Assisted Living at the time of her passing from natural causes.
She is survived by her three children Daniel Herman, Edward Herman and Norma (Lance) Verhoeff, grandsons Mark (Nadine) Irvin and John Irvin, two great granddaughters Fiona and Eleanor Irvin, several nieces, a nephew and sister-in-law. Extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Adolph Herman, brothers George and Edward Kimmick, and grandson Paul Irvin.
After graduating from Minnequa Nursing school in Pueblo she was employed by St. Mary-Corwin. She soon married and started a family. She worked in several areas of nursing including the operating room, cardiac care unit and ending her nursing career at the CF&I Emergency Care Hospital. She loved singing and cantoring in the Shrine of St. Therese choir, cooking, playing cards and fishing.
Her funeral services will be held at the Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church Friday March 20th at 10:00 a.m. Followed immediately to inurnment at Roselawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice or Shrine of St. Therese.
