We knew Max when he was the superintendent here in Eads. Louis was on the school board at the time and greatly respected Max for his dedication to Eads Schools and education. Our sympathies for your loss.

I have such fond memories of Uncle Max, with that of him teaching me the "Heart and Soul" duet on our upright piano at the forefront. The first thing we'd do when he and Aunt LaNita came to visit was sit down and play it together. He always took such an interest in our lives and opinions, making us feel like adults long before we had reached that stage. He will be dearly missed.

Max was a terrific school superintendent.  I had the pleasure of being on the school board during his tenure as superintendent at Eads.  He was one of the best for our school system.

Uncle Max was a great man.  I have so many wonderful memories of him, playing the piano at Aunt Marions and Uncle Willards, talking school politics, traveling to Colorado to visit him and Aunt LaNita, etc.  He will be greatly missed.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
