Born in Denver to Paul and Irene Rush, Merrill-Lee attended Saint Mary’s Academy and Regis University. She went on to build a successful 47-year career in real estate where she earned many accolades including induction into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame and the “100% Club.
Merrill-Lee was known for her sense of humor, generosity and adventurous spirit. She loved her pets, gardening, cooking and hosting gatherings where no one ever left hungry. She had a passion for travel and sought out remote and exotic destinations. She was also a lifelong supporter of nonprofit organizations focused on animal welfare and environmental protection.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Patrick Flanigan; her children, Amy (Michael) Flanigan Zadra of Seattle, WA and Brit (Kyle) Crezee of Truckee, CA; and her three grandchildren Ryder and Griffin Crezee and Elliana Zadra.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local no-kill animal shelter in her honor.
