Michael W. Lindvay

Michael W. Lindvay, 97, passed away November 29, 2012. He is preceded in death by his wife Margaret; daughter Kathy Wilson and numerous other family members. He is survived by his son Michael “Mick” (Glendine “Glen” Mell) Lindvay; son –in-law Tim Triggs; grandchildren Michael “Mick” (Emma) Lindvay, Anne (Rob) Havlovick and Jermaine Wilson; great grandchildren Jayda Wilson, Jae-Lyn Wilson, Jermaine Wilson, Kennedy Lindvay and Michael Lindvay; sister Agnes Evans and numerous other relatives. Michael served in the US Army during WWII and was in the Normandy landing, and he later retired from CF&I. He loved cats, gardening and raised beautiful geraniums. In lieu of food and flowers, contributions may be made to Frontier Hospice through the funeral home office. Memorial service will be Tuesday 10:00 AM at George McCarthy Historic Chapel with inurnment to follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
