She was a founding board member of the TIE (Technology In Education) conference held annually in Snowmass and a past President of the Board of the YWCA. She was also a recipient of the Outstanding Woman Award through the Pueblo City/County Library District for her service to our community. When we remember the remarkable woman she was, we can all say, “She worked hard, loved much and always strove to do her best. Sitting was not an option”.
