

Patricia Genova, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on July 9, 2026, just days before her 84th birthday. She lived a life filled with love, strength, and a spirit that will be remembered by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Joe Genova; her parents, Dorothy and Paul Vaclav; her in-laws, Frank and Grace Genova; and her brothers, Paul Vaclav and Henry “Butch” Queen.
She is survived by her children, Patty (Anthony) Even, Westcliffe, CO; John Genova, Colorado Springs; and Julie Genova, Pueblo, CO. She was a proud grandmother to Logan (Colten) Kuhn, Kyle (Dazelle) Even, and Seth Even, who were among the greatest joys of her life. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren, McKall and Ridge Kuhn.
Over 83 years, Patricia built a life centered on family, resilience, and love. She had a strong spirit, a caring heart, and a personality that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She was devoted to her family and always stood up for the people she loved.
Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the many memories she gave us and in knowing that her love will continue to live on through her family. Her legacy will remain in the traditions, stories, and values she passed down.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
