Patricia “Patsy” Rupert, 81, passed away on Mother’s Day, May 8, 2011. She was born in Denver during a blizzard on January 10, 1930. She started college in the fall of 1948 and was stricken with Polio in December of 1948. She recovered, graduated in May of 1953 and married Harold Rupert in the fall of 1953. They had five children, four of which are surviving; Tim (Kathy), Tom (Shiela), Tammy (Tim) and Terry (Gino); and three grandchildren Tommy Jr., Darian and Zachary. She also has one sister surviving, Joan Roberts. Patsy was preceded in death by one son, Ted Rupert. She later worked with handicapped preschool children for School District 60 for 12 years. Patsy was a wonderful wife and mother and will be greatly missed. Funeral service Friday 10:00 am, Imperial Funeral Home Chapel, interment to follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens.
