Peter James Chavez

Peter James Chavez much loved brother and son passed from this earth to the Lord on October 2, 2024. He was born on October 23rd of 1965 to Pete Chavez and Ramona Pacheco. Proceeded in death by mother Ramona Pacheco and baby nephew Elias. Survived by father Pete Chavez, sister Bea Chavez, sister Jill Chavez, brother Robert Chavez, sister Maryjean (Steve) Martinez, niece Ericka (Tim) and niece Rhyanna. Also surviving Peter by his faithful dog Bruno and many longtime friends.

Peter graduated from Centennial High School in 1984, after attended Pueblo Community College and received a double Associate of Arts Degrees in Auto Mechanics and Electronics. Peter worked a number of years assembling computer boards; he then switched careers and worked as a Psych Tech at Pueblo Regional Center and retired from there. Peter enjoyed going to Cripple Creek, fishing, hunting, attending concerts, watching his favorite programs, and was a voracious reader loved his Harry Potter Novels and Movies.

A viewing for Peter will be held Monday, October 14, 2024 at 5:00 PM at Imperial Funeral Home, 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, Colorado 81005. A rosary will occur Monday, October 14, 2024 at 6:00 PM, 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, Colorado 81005. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 9:20 AM at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 414 W. 11th Street, Pueblo, Colorado 81003. A committal service will occur Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Imperial Memorial Gardens, 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, Colorado 81005.
