Peter Pat Moore

Peter Pat Moore, born March 1, 1927, in Lufkin, Texas; passed away Sunday morning, August 25, 2013. Peter was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara R. (Moore) Bush; parents, Joe and Mary; brothers, David, Bethel, Thomas and Sam Moore. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Anneliese Moore; sons, Peter W. Moore and Harold J. Moore; grandchildren, Shadrick (Jo) Newbauer, Heather (Joel) Transeau, Tracy (Juan) Moore-Perez, Preston (Ashley) Moore; and 7 great-grandchildren; also survived by his brothers, Ray and Dan Moore; sister, Sadie Key. Peter was a Veteran of WWII. He was a member of the American Legion and the Order of Eagles #145. He was also a co-owner of Moore Concrete Products of Pueblo. His great love was hunting and fishing in the mountains of Colorado. Viewing will be 4-6 p.m., Wednesday, at TG McCarthy Funeral Home.
