Philip Loyd Casias, of Pueblo, passed away at home on November 5, 2018. Phil was born on February 24, 1964 in Pueblo, CO. He graduated in 1982 from South High School. Phil served for six years in the United States Air Force; he was stationed in Mildenhall, England, finishing his career at NORAD in Colorado Springs, CO. Phil then joined the Pueblo Police Department in 1991 and served his community for 26 years as a Corporal. Phil received numerous awards and accommodations from both the Chief of Police and the citizens of Pueblo. He is survived by his son, Colin, Becky Brumbaugh Casias; parents, Frank and Mary Ellen Casias; sister, Lisa (Derrick) Perkins; brother, Gary Casias, and numerous nieces and nephews. Phil made friends easily and enjoyed spending time with his son and playing golf with his friends in his free time. Phil was loved and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be at 10 am Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1145 Aspen Road. Family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to Boys and Girls Club of Pueblo County.
