Phillip served in the United States Army from February 18 1941 to December 13, 1945. He was a Prisoner of War for 6 months during the Battle of the Bulge. He worked at the Pueblo Army Depot for 28 years, constructing boxes for ammunition.
He was a member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart since 1951, the Nocturnal Adoration Society, Abba House Prayer Group, and a Eucharistic minister.
Phillip was preceded in death by his wife Anne Herrera and son Lee Andrade.
He is survived by his children Ernie Andrade, Louise (Tony) Baca, Phyllis (Larry) Rodriguez, Susan (Ruben) Vigil, and Corrine (Derald) Aragon; 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Tuesday October 26 at 5pm at Imperial Funeral Home with a rosary to follow at 6pm. Funeral will be Wednesday October 27 at 9:30am at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, with a committal service to follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens.
