

Rachel (Ortiz) Terrazas 79, of Pueblo, CO passed away on May 16, 2023. She graduated from Granada High School, Granada, CO. Class of 1963.
As a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother; Rachel wore different hats to accommodate her families'' wishes, requirements, demands and dreams. She had a talent to make everyone feel unique and like a million bucks. Her ability to demonstrate the love and understanding for each and every individual member of her family was exemplary. She had a calm, soothing and loving demeanor that made everybody's problems dissipate. The love and support that she provided for her children during their athletic endeavors was immeasurable. Rachel was a die-hard loyal fan to the Denver Broncos and the Granada High School Bobcats. Rachel lived by the Mantra - "Once a Bobcat, always a Bobcat"!
Rachel and her husband Felix sacrificed personal time to attend and to be in company when their sons were competing in athletic events.
In her own world of entertainment, Rachel and Felix shared a common love for dancing. They loved to dance together. We are sure that Rachel and Felix are now dancing in the greatest ballroom available in Heaven!
She was preceded in death by her husband Felix Terrazas; her parents Gerardo and Molly Ortiz; her sisters Carmen Lucero, Betty (Luna) Ramos, Josephine Martinez, Rosie Zapata, Frances Ulibarri; her brothers Gerardo Ortiz Jr., Manuel Ortiz, Felix Ortiz; her granddaughter Tamara Terrazas; her nephews Gerald Gene Gallegos, Jason Mark Ortiz, Randolph Michael Ortiz, Aaron Armando Ortiz along with two-Sets of Grandparents; numerous other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews from both sides of her Mother's and Father's families.
Rachel is survived by her children Rhonda Miller, Victor Serna, Nick Terrazas, Victor Terrazas Jr., Darrin Terrazas; sisters Helen Ibarra, Florence Urias; brothers Lino Ortiz, and Martin Ortiz.
She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by many close friends that she considered as family members. A special gesture of Love and Appreciation to her sister-in-law "Brenda Ortiz" who cared for her, while she resided in Pueblo.
Services will be held July 10th, 2023, 10:00am, at St. Francis de Sales & Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 600 E. Parmenter St. Lamar, CO. 81052 ( No Rosary )
Interment to follow (after Mass) at: Riverside Cemetery 1009 E. Maple ST. Lamar, CO. 81052
