Reyes Lopez

It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Retired MSgt. Reyes Lopez, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, veteran, craftsman, and lifelong learner.

Reyes proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant after 21 years of distinguished military service. His commitment to excellence and leadership left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of serving alongside him.

Following his military retirement, Reyes continued to build a life defined by hard work and craftsmanship. He worked as a Journeyman Carpenter and Certified Welder, earned three associate degrees, was a Lockheed Martin Quality Assurance Manager of the Year and worked at Parkview Hospital in the IT Department. Reyes demonstrated that learning is a lifelong pursuit, and he was an example of perseverance and determination for future generations.

Above all, Reyes was a family man. Nothing brought him greater joy than watching his family grow and celebrating their accomplishments. Reyes is survived by his loving wife Colleen. This blended marriage brought Reyes and Colleen a total of five children, seventeen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, along with extended family members, and countless friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.

Reyes was preceded in death by his first wife Evelyn Elaine Lopez, Vick Lopez, Andy Lopez, Richard Lopez, Elise Southern, Edna Rotdridge.

May he rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
