Richard Lewis Griffith, 1932 – 2012, was preceded in death by his parents, Vern and Nellie Griffith; sisters, Leona Steinke and Corinne Toft; and brother, Vern Griffith. He is survived by his wife Elaine; four sons, Richard Jr. (Laura), Kenneth (Christine), Joseph (Suzi), and Kevin (Linda); five grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A veteran of the US Army, he retired from the CF&I and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #145. Richard loved spending time with all of his grandchildren; trips to South Padre Island, TX; summer fishing in Alaska with nephew Bob and son Joe; and trips to Las Vegas. He will be missed by all. Graveside service, 11 a.m. Tuesday at Imperial Memorial Gardens. In lieu of food and flowers, donations may be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice.
