Rich and I went to friends pool party while he was in PA. Good times. 
My dear Rich I miss you, our talks, texts, Texas fun times-fishing, walking the dog, having fun with our friends, deck parties, dancing, Park entertainment, music on the island, drives on the beach, sitting by the campers and visiting. So many things we enjoyed together.  He said to me this year “you were my almost wife, my friend and my fishing buddy and I am good with that”.  Rich, I miss you and love you. It won’t be the same without you. You will always be in my heart.💔 Until we meet again my dear….🫶 😇

A bucket list trip of Rich’s to go to the Football Hall of Fame. He found out it was only a couple hours away from my house. We spent the day there going through the Hall of Fame and he got to see all the players and stuff he wanted to. It was a fun day. Elway was his favorite player.

Returning turtles to the Gulf of Mexico on S Padre island after they were nursed back to health from being stunned from the cold weather. He was so excited to do this “ once in a lifetime opportunity “ What fun it was!!

Rich loved  deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico for red snappers. This is 2025 fishing trip. He got 2 nice big red snappers and 2 that were legal size of 16” in the middle of the stringer.  He had so much fun!! And was excited to do some more red snapper fishing this coming year.

I am truly sorry to hear of Rich’s passing. I remember my first 2 years on the football staff which were Rich’s junior & senior years. Tough kid on the football field as well as on the wrestling mat. He made an impression on me that lasted all these years. After he graduated I noticed his deep loyalty to Centennial. He was involved in so many things that involved the Bulldogs. He continued to be a highly respected former Bulldog right up to his passing. My heart goes out to the entire Pike clan.

Great memories of Flag Football  (about 1971) at the El Ray Bar on the east side of Pueblo.

Pike you were so good to me, and Jix and our boys (Mason) and (Trevor). We remember alot of memories with you. Being at the reservoir and tubing and relaxing and enjoying the sun on your boat. Memories after memories we will always remember and cherish. I remember you were passing through Texas and made a detour which was 2 hours from your route and you took the time and came to visit us in Midland. Thank you for being an amazing stepfather to myself and my sisters, and a loving and caring grandpa to the boys!! We will miss you and cherish every moment we had with you.

I am very proud to call Rich a stepfather. He treated my mom, myself, and my sisters with the upmost respect and love that anyone could ever ask for. We always had fun, and he always made sure we were taken care of in so many ways. I will definitely miss his smile, his laugh, his advice, and his amazing loving kindness. He will always be apart of our family, and I am very grateful to have him in my life. 

❤️Rich, I’m sure there is nothing better than spending eternity on the water, in your boat, along with Iggy, and your guitar.  You’re surely missed.

Pike, was definitely one of a kind! Always willing to help anyone in need & always had a positive word in any situation.  His  love for Ike & Iggie, the Broncos , outdoors,  fishing, camping,  hunting, Cripple Creek, Coors Sloppers & Passkey, was your passion.  Rest in peace and thank you for the memories you shared with my daughters, my grandsons, family & I.

Pike was married to my mom many years ago. He treated my sisters and I like we were his own. I’ll always appreciate the memories at the reservoir going tubing and fishing, going to Las Vegas, and going to blue mesa. I remember him loving Jimmy Buffet & the Denver Broncos. Condolences to his family.

Mr. Pike was a supervisor of mine at Pueblo Youth Services. He was my teacher, and a friend. He will be missed and remembered for the great guy he was. Lots of memories and gathering with Mr. Pike. He was social and friendly person.  R.I.P.

Mr Pike you were one of my most important inspirations and mentors when I started PYC.  I learned so much of the intake process when I worked graveyards with you.  I remember how you built the Culture at PYC by offering employees an outlet to get together outside of PYC on your boat at the Pueblo Lake and we had a BBQ every Tuesday.  I always remember one of your sayings “We except any challenge”.  you will be missed by friend.

“Pike” or “Pikester” as we called you.. you were one of a kind.  This breaks my heart, I pray you lived each day to the fullest old friend.   You were an asset to many, especially at PYC.  God bless..

Rich was a long time friend and fellow member of the Greater Pueblo Sports Association. He was a fine student athlete at Centennial High School when I was teaching and coaching there. We've continued our friendship through the GPSA  for the last number of  years working on many activities involving the GPSA Hall of Fame. Pueblo has lost a really good man. He will be missed greatly. My condolences to his entire family. Rest in Peace, Rich.
