

Richard “Jimmy” Quintana Jr., 79, passed away January 10, 2013. Richard is survived by his children Jean (Carmel) Hall, Darlene Bender, Jerry Clyde (Emily) Quintana, Patricia (Bill) Atkinson, Karen (Don) Planalp and Donna (Frank) Martinez; 15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren 1 great-great grandchild and 2 great grandchildren on the way. He is also survived by his siblings Viola (Art) Lucero, brother Alvin (Catherine) Quintana and numerous nieces, nephews cousins, other family and friends and his special dog “Tootsie”. Richard was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years Linda C. Quintana, parents Richard and Ethel Quintana and his nephew Arthur “Pinky” Lucero Jr. Richard served his country in the US Army and the US Air Force. He retired as a cement mason, loved fishing, hunting, Mexican music and going to Cripple Creek. Viewing will be Tuesday 3-7 PM with rosary to follow at 7 PM both at TG McCarthy Funeral Home, funeral mass Wednesday 10:00 St. Joseph Catholic Church.
