Rita Lynn Jimenez

Rita was born December 8, 1958, in Pueblo, Colorado, the daughter of Pedro “Pete” and Carmen. She married on January 29, 1977 in Pueblo, Colorado. From this marriage, they have two beautiful children.

Rita graduated from Centennial High School in 1977. She loved being with family and friends, singing karaoke, loving her many feline friends, and was incredible at embroidery, making tamales and telling jokes. Her biggest gift, however, was her heart of gold. She was the most loving and giving person. Her time and heart were open at any time to everyone.

She is survived by her ex-husband Tim; her daughter Stephanie (Jonny); and son Timmy. She was the grandmother of Aaron, Raeanne, Joslynn (Elijah); and great-grandson Roman. Rita is also survived by brothers Leonard (Patty); and George (Sarron); and sisters Gloria (Bill); and Isabel (J.P.); numerous nieces, nephews, Godchildren, cousins; and a special friend.

Rita was preceded in death by parents Pedro “Pete” and Carmen; sister Martha Ann; brother David Leon; nephew Leonard Earl; niece Jennifer Lee; great-grandson Josias; and father and mother in-law Eutimio and Juliana.

Rita will be greatly missed by so many family and friends.

A private memorial service to celebrate the life of Rita will be held at a later date.
