Rita Perez, a cherished resident of Pueblo, Colorado, passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 81. Rita was known for her kind, loving, and giving nature, as well as her playfulness and unforgettable smile.
Rita worked with Pueblo Diversified Industries. She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Soto Perez; mother, Ignacia Perez; brothers, Florentino (Rose) Perez, Manuel Perez, Phillip Perez, Russel Perez; and sister-in-law, Ramona Perez. She is survived by her brother, Robert A. Perez; sisters-in-law, Carol Perez and Eva Perez; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Rita enjoyed coloring, knitting, playing with her dolls, going for walks, playing sports, and solving puzzles. Her hobbies brought her joy and were a testament to her vibrant and playful spirit.
A funeral service will be held to honor Rita's life at Imperial Funeral Home, located at 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, CO 81005, on January 20, 2026, at 10:00 am.
