To the Baker Family, Bob and I did not know each other very long, but we enjoyed visiting about his tractor and the work he did cleaning snow from my parking lot area. He would stop and talk a little, then back to work. He was a man of few words, but always willing to visit a little while. I will miss him and the community has lost a good man.

To the family of Bob Baker,
I am very saddened to learn of the loss of your beloved family member. In 2008, my friend Kathy Reis of Westcliffe recomended Bob to me for mowing my vacation property South of town, he has kept it looking good ever since. I would always pay him more for his time and effort than he would ask of me...He was well worth it. Occasionaly, I would stop by and visit with him when I was in town and he would always talk about his Sons & Daughter. I could tell that he must have been very proud of all of you. I don't remember him ever mentioning to me that he had been the Westcliffe Sheriff, but he never talked about himself unless it was relevant to my questions about Custer County history etc. He was pretty familier with my town of residence in Texas so there was always some fuel to fire a good conversation. I will miss him very much!

To the Bob Baker Family - you have our deepest sympathies.

We have a lot of good memories of the hunting trips to Colorado and the hospitality Bob and his family extended to us over the years. It will never be forgotten. Those memories are priceless.

Bob - rest in peace. You hold a very special place in our hearts.
