Robert V. Bond

He leaves behind his one and only sweetheart, his wife Tobbie Bond, as well as his daughters, Heather Bond, Holly Bond, Jennifer (Nathan) Bond-Wailes, Jillian (Dean Agee) Bond, and Kelly Conager; grandchildren, Cody (Emilie) Martinez, Veronica Bond, Sky Castaing, Tristin Baker, Pyper Castaing, Cadence Agee, Tyler Hanks, Paige Clennin, Ellie Agee, and Davin Freeman. Robert's mother, Noma Watson; brother Terry (Georgeann) Bond; sister Christy (Sam) Hisamoto.

He was preceded by his stepfather, George Watson; father Wilson V. Bond; brother, Jerry Bond; father-in-law, Ronald C. Harriss; mother-in-law, Delores I. Harriss and uncle Buddy Kelly.

Robert was a hard worker and had several jobs. When he was a child, Robert picked cotton, watermelon and cantaloupe. In his teenage years Robert washed dishes, and worked at the Pearl Onion Factory. Robert's adult jobs started at Taylor Fence and then he started at CF&I in 1976 and stayed though all the changes, consisting of Oregon Steel, EVRAZ Rocky Mountain Steel Mill. To supplement the income he always had side jobs. Some of the side jobs were delivering the Thrifty Nickel, cleaning stalls, and G.E. Johnson construction.

Robert enjoyed sports like bowling, baseball, football, and hockey. He loved to watch the Rockies, Avalanche, and the Broncos play.

Robert worked hard to take care of his family. He spoiled his wife and he was the best father his girls could ask for. He will be deeply missed by his whole family. We love you so much!
