Robert Evans Chappell, 79, passed away January 14, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Charlene; children, Rick (Tammy) Chappell; grandchildren, Cody and Amber Chappell; siblings, David Chappell, Norma Avery, Sharleen Donelson; several nieces and nephews; in-laws, Lee and Mona Grisham and family. Robert was born in Pueblo, CO, to Guy and Mae Chappell on December 18, 1935. He worked at the CF & I for 31 years. His heart was into collecting old cars and playing in his band with his wife. He was the owner of Sr. Robert’s Bar. Viewing will be 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2015, followed by the Funeral Service at 2 p.m., both to be held at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home.
