

ROBERT WILLIAM MARQUEZ, 30, was born January 31, 1987 in Pueblo CO. He graduated from South High school in 2005. Robert passed away on March 18th 2017 while serving with the DAMBBUSTERS of Strike Fighter Squadron ONE NINE FIVE (VFA-195) United States Navy based out of Atsugi, Japan. He was serving as an Aircrew Survival Equipmentman Third Class. During his short time in the United States Navy, Robert was commended numerous times by his peers and seniors for contributing significantly toward the mission of the squadron of the United States Navy. “Robb was an exceptional young man who will be truly missed by his shipmates and those with whom he came in contact, including myself.” Commander Ryan S. Jackson, US Navy. Robby was an avid DragonballZ enthusiast. His bright “Zoolander” smile and amazing hugs which left us feeling his warm embrace long after it was over will forever be missed. Robby’s bright, positive and caring personality made a positive impact on all those around him. He is survived by his Mother; Marina Flores, Father; Robert Marquez, Brother; Eljon (Cheryll) Marquez, Sister; Joie Flores, Brother; Antonio and Brother; Justin Marquez, Grandmother; Maria V. Martinez, Grandparents; John & Georgiana Marquez, Nephew; Angel Pena, Niece; Emily Marquez. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, shipmates and friends. Robb is preceded in death by his Grandfather; William Martinez, and Uncle; Bernal Martinez.
