Obituary of Robert Salazar
IN THE CARE OF

Imperial Memorial Gardens Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery

Robert Salazar, age 64, passed away peacefully at home on April 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Robert was a truly remarkable man. He was funny, kind, witty, stubborn, and above all, a fighter. He faced a long and difficult journey with strength and resilience, showing those around him what it means to persevere. His courage and determination left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his deep love for his family, and the strength he carried throughout his life. Robert was a devoted husband to his wife, Tina, a loving father, and a proud grandfather and great-grandfather. His family was the center of his world and the greatest joy of his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Tina; his daughters, Elizabeth (John), Kerilyn (Skyler), and Monica (Leroy); and his son Eddie. He is also survived by his siblings, Steve (Carla) and Juana (Gustavo).

Robert was preceded in death by his grandparents, Salvador and Juanita DeHerrera and John and Cindy Salazar; his parents, Mary and Dale; his sister, Tina; and many other beloved family members and friends.

He leaves behind a large and loving family, including his grandchildren Joseph (Kyla), Tony, Eddie, Gavin, Isaiah, Josh, Adriana, Kaylee, Lilah, Payton, Madison, Christian, and Cameron; and his great-grandchildren Xavien, Zadrian, and Kai, with two great-granddaughters on the way. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Robert had a passion for life’s simple joys. He loved fishing, watching sports, especially cheering on the Denver Broncos, and had a deep interest in history and documentaries. He also loved music and dancing, especially listening to oldies, which brought him joy and energy throughout his life. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing football, and he also found happiness in building model cars.

Above all, Robert’s greatest love was his family. His wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
