I can't believe it's been a year already. Time has gone by so fast, but it still feels like last week you left us. I still expect to see you when I come home, waiting to ask me about my adventures. Instead, I just see the empty chair on the porch. Now, there's just silence. It's crazy how, no matter what we lose or what pain we experience, time just keeps moving along. I miss you and love you, Mom.

She was an awesome mother-in-law.  In fact, she welcomed me in with open arms and treated me like her own child.  I consider her my mom.  She was extremely generous and giving.   She always made sure that my favorite foods were available for me during the holidays.  I am going to miss sitting on the porch and talking to her about anything.  I love you and will miss you, but I know you are watching over the rest of the family. 

She was a great Aunt! I always loved going over her house.  Of course like any good aunt, she always let me have and do whatever I wanted.  Everyone loved telling me the story of how when I was little she would be eating rocky mountain oysters and I would crawl up on her lap and she would feed them to me, and just thought it was hilarious how much I liked them.  RIP aunt Bertie, I know you will definitely be missed!

My Mom was the person everyone could count on no matter what. She would answer any question. She always had food on the stove so no kne would be hungry. She has always been here for me. Even when the world seemed to be against me. No matter how far down I had fallen I knew there was a hand to help me up. Going to miss you mom. Love you!

You were always there, you were there to care for me before my parents got custody, you were there at every dance recital, you were there at awards ceremonies,  you were there when my bio mom passed, you were there when my dad passed, you were there when I graduated,you were always there cheering me on whenever you could! You never lost faith in me . It's rare a foster parent stays in your life forever but you did. You never left even when I moved away. You helped shape me into who I am today! Thank you for loving me and believing in me! You were an example  for foster families  everywhere and I will forever be grateful for everything  you did for me and my family! I love you forever and eternity!  RIP BERTIE
