OBITUARY
Roger K. Brandon
November 29, 1943 – October 3, 2012
Roger K. Brandon, 68, born to Vernon and Eva Brandon on November 29, 1943, passed away October 3, 2012 at his home. He is predeceased by his parents and a brother, Alan Brandon. Roger married Ruth Ann Dempsey and they recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. She survives along with children, Cynthia (David) Dean, Alan (Ana) Brandon; grandchildren, Matthew and Austin Dean; and brother, Dr. Gary (D.J.) Brandon. Roger was a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He retired as Chief Master Sergeant with the Air Force after 22 years. While in the Air Force, he was an aircraft mechanic and a still photographer. After his retirement, he was employed by General Dynamics which allowed him and Ruth Ann to live in Pakistan and Venezuela. He was then employed by Doss Aviation. Roger loved to spend time with his family, the outdoors, airplanes, photography, scuba diving, teaching aeronautics, and his numerous cats. Special thanks to Heidi with Sangre de Cristo Hospice and Dr. Carol Venable. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Sangre de Cristo Hospice or Hill Aerospace Museum through the funeral home. Ruth Ann and family: Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. It is our loss too. I have many fond memories of Roger from high school and the two of you over the past 50 years.
